Admission Policy

We are immensely happy about your decision to be a BRINDISIAN. You can be proud of your educational carrier on this Brindisi school. We provide a qualitative and holistic education with the implications of moral, intellectual and social aptitude. Education is exhorted by using modern technology and qualified tutors. It is not only situated in the heart of the city Coimbatore but also in the heart of the people for its natural location ever with tranquillity, peace and serene. Admissions are subjected to seats available in respective grades.

General Norms for Admission

  1. The Application Form, duly filled, must be submitted along with the respective admission fees in cash or Demand Draft.
  2. The application should be furnished with Correct information without fail and this will be used as a basic for the school records.
  3. Original birth certificate, Aadhaar card, Community Certificate , Transfer certificate & 1 passport size photo for verification and a Xerox copy of it should be attached with the application.
  4. For admission to L.K.G the child should complete the age of 3.5 years on 31st of June.
  5. Transfer certificate should be produced for admission for U.K.G and other class from the Previous Recognized Schools.
  6. Students those who seek admission from other states (Other than Tamilnadu), must produce their Transfer Certificate counter signed by the Educational Authority of their district.
  7. Re-admission should be done to students who are promoted from U.K.G to STD I.





Curriculam - Curricular And Extra Curricular Activities

  1. Christian Doctrine or Moral Science, English, Tamil, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Drawing, Physical Education, Common Hindi, Communicative English and Computer Science are in our curricular activities.
  2. Periodically, the Literary Association and Science Club will meet and conduct elocutions, debates, competitions, quiz programmes etc., to promote the literary and scientific knowledge of the children.
  3. Participation in extra- curricular activities is a must for all students, for which opportunities are provided. This is to promote physical fitness and talent development.

L.K.G & U.K.G

Girls: Checked with Navy Blue frock, Navy Blue Socks, Black Shoes.
Boys: Navy Blue half pant and checked shirt, belt, Navy Blue Socks, Black Shoes.


STD I to STD V

Girls: Navy Blue pinafore, checked Shirt, Belt, Navy Blue Socks and Blue ribbons, Black shoes.
Boys: Navy Blue half pant and checked shirt, belt, Navy Blue Socks, Black Shoes.


STD VI to STD X

Girls: Navy Blue Bottom and checked top, Navy Blue Socks and Blue ribbons, Black Shoes.
Boys: Navy Blue pant and checked shirt, belt, Navy Blue socks, Black shoes.


On every Wednesday, the students should wear Sports Uniform.



Academic Policy

Examination & Reports

The school will conduct three mid-term examinations and three terminal examinations, Progress reports will be sent to the parents periodically. These should be returned duly counter signed within two days, parents may discuss the progress of their children with the Correspondent / Principal after fixing up prior appointments. Parents are requested to examine carefully the monthly reports and to cooperate with the teachers helping their children to improve in whatever subjects they are weak and also to correct the faults mentioned in the report.


Promotion

A pupil is promoted on the basis of his/her performance during the whole year. Hence, regularity in attendance and studies are important. Result declared at the end of the year is final in all cases and it will not be reconsidered under any circumstances. A pupil whose conduct is not up to the school shall be asked to leave the school.


Transfer

Application for the Transfer Certificate should be submitted in the office at least five days in advance, after getting promotion result. It shall not be issued unless all the fee due for the term in which the pupil last attended have been remitted.


Attendance

  1. Students must obtain 100% attendance during the academic year. Great importance is given to achievement of this goal and in this respect we expect full support and co-operation from taking leave for various ceremonies. Parents are requested to seek leave for their children only on unavoidable circumstances.
  2. No student shall absent herself/himself without obtaining leave previously. Absentees or latecomers should not enter the class without the written permission of the Principal.
  3. If a student is absent for more than a week continuously he/she should produce the medical Certificate.

General Rules and Regulations

  1. Students are expected to come to school neat and clean, dressed in school uniform.
  2. In order to acquire fluency in English all the student must speak only English in the school premises.
  3. Bringing mobile phones, calculators, Walkman, watches with calculators and games and wearing jewels are strictly forbidden. Such items will be confiscated, if found with students.
  4. Habitual late coming, irregular attendance, unjustified absence, wilful disobedience or misconduct are injurious to the tone and discipline of the school, will be seriously dealt with.
  5. Students should obtain permission to leave the class and silence should always be observed while on the corridors.
  6. Care should be taken to keep the school building clean, Students should not write on desks, chairs, walls or doors.
  7. Students should not throw papers, bottles, plastic items, etc., anywhere in the school premises. They should use the bins specially provided for this purpose.
  8. No gifts or donations to the teachers are allowed.
  9. Students are expected to participate in all the activities of the school.
  10. Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during the school hours without permission of the Principal. After school hours all the students are expected to go home.
  11. Courtesy, refined manners, good behaviours are all to be maintained by the efforts of parents and teachers in harmony. A spirit of loyalty and gratitude should be cultivated at home; a spirit of generous involvement and dedication to the ideals of the school should be the aim of the parents and student.
  12. Parents/visitors are strictly forbidden to enter the school premises except on occasions specified by the school authorities.
  13. Parents are requested to take careful not of the communication of teachers in the pages of the school calendar.
  14. Students should endeavour to keep up high tone of the school by excelling in good manners and deportment.
